Werner reacts to new nickname given to him

Even with his first official goal for Chelsea yet to come, Chelsea new boy Timo Werner hasn’t felt anything other than love since arriving at Stamford Bridge. It just leaves you imagining how of it he would be when he starts banging in the goals.



Werner has now reacted after he just recently found out he’s been given a new nickname ‘Turbo Timo’ after his move to Chelsea. The name is actually relative to his pacy style of play as he stands out as a new breed of striker, something different from what we are used to.


‘ I only heard it recently for the first time, he admitted. I was a little bit surprised but Turbo Timo is not the worst nickname for me. Hopefully I can show people that it suits me’.


Werner is obviously in line to feature for the blues on Sunday when they face premier league champions, Liverpool as he’s expected to have shaken off the knock he picked up against Brighton and Hove Albion.
