Topic: Destined for Greatness (part 2)


Destiny is an extremely powerful force because it comes from the God Who once He speaks, it comes to pass.
When Jesus raised people from the dead, He ignored death.

+ God told Peter that he was destined to lead the church. Matthew 16: 13-19

Herod tried to kill Peter, but you can't kill one whom God has destined for greatness.
Acts 12: 1-11

+ Joseph. Genesis 37: 18-34
The brothers of Joseph tried to kill him, but even the well they threw him in had dried up.

+ God had determined that Daniel would be the number 1 man in the land, but the enemy tried to make him food for lions. But whom God has destined for greatness can not be killed. Daniel 6

Destiny won't let you die.
Destiny can nullify death. It can reverse the irreversible. 

+ Sarah.
Genesis 17: 1-17, Romans 4: 17-22

Destiny reversed the irreversible in Sarah's womb. Proverbs 19: 21

Habakkuk 2:3
From the day you're born, God, Who decides what you're going to become, is also the One Who controls the times and the seasons. 
Numbers 14: 6-38, Joshua 14: 6-15

Destiny clings to you and follows you everywhere.

+ Genesis 37
Even in slavery, Joseph was made leader over Potiphar's household, then head over the prison. Genesis 39.

Although David was destined and anointed to be king, he was being chased to be killed by the current king. 1 Samuel 16: 11-13

Then, he became the leader over destitute men. 1 Samuel 22

And then he became king of Judah and then king of Israel. 

There is something about destiny that you need to know straight away.

It creates in you a hunger for God. Genesis 39: 7-9
Joshua 24: 15
Destiny links you with God.
It makes you want to be where God is.


Salvation Call
You are destined to serve God. Stop resisting.

If you haven't given your life to Jesus or would like to rededicate your life, ask the Lord to have mercy on you, forgive your sins, wash you clean with His blood, and save your soul.

WAITING WARS  After seeing the Mount Zion Movie, Waiting Wars, I must say the period of waiting is a warfare that could either lead you to shifting your grounds, if you're not careful or into ground breaking testimonies. It all depends on how much you trust God, the quality of your decisions and actions while waiting. It may not be easy, but that you are currently waiting for a certain result, manifestation or promise of God concerning your life doesn't mean you are wasting time. Waiting for admission?  Waiting for a life partner? Waiting for your dream job? Waiting for that result? Don't comprise, don't lose your faith, don't give up, don't doubt, don't rush into getting what you seek by all means, don't rush into just any open door of opportunity (some are traps of the Devil).  Don't wait idly.  Stay strong. God's word says: "Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it." Ask those who waited patiently and trusted ...
