Muslim Man Defends Pastor Adeboye’s N10 Billion Donation Request, Says It’s a Virtuous Act

A Muslim faithful, Adejare Ibrahim, has come out in support of Pastor Enoch Adeboye’s recent call for N10 billion donations from members of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG).

Pastor Adeboye, the RCCG General Overseer, made the request during the church’s August convention, explaining that the funds were needed to accommodate the growing number of worshippers at the Redemption Camp.

In a Facebook post, Ibrahim expressed surprise at the criticism Pastor Adeboye’s donation call has received. He said the request was voluntary and not forced on anyone.

"It is my money, not yours. I pray that I will be among those who will donate generously to the cause of God. May I not be among those who spend time criticizing others on social media while others give millions and billions.”
