June 2025 Holy Ghost Service  Ministering: Pastor E. A. Adeboye  Topic: Destined for Greatness (part 2) Destiny is an extremely powerful force because it comes from the God Who once He speaks, it comes to pass. I USED TO BE A WOMANIZER - DANIEL ETIM EFFIONG

Image
Nollywood actor Daniel Etim-Effiong has revealed that he used to be a womanizer at one point in his life, though he described the phase as brief and a period of learning. In a recent interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo, the actor—who started out as an engineer—shared that he once dated multiple women at the same time, but eventually realized that lifestyle didn’t bring the fulfilment he expected. “Maybe there was a period in my life that I was,” he admitted. “I wouldn’t say for long, but they were periods of learning.” Etim-Effiong explained that, while it may seem fun to be a “player,” the habit can negatively affect one’s ability to commit in the future. “If you develop that lifestyle, it won’t automatically change overnight,” he said. “When you get married, that muscle hasn’t been developed. So when you face challenges, you may feel like walking away instead of working through it.” He now uses his experience to advise young people to avoid womanizing, emphasizing th...

Taking Charge of Your Children: A Biblical Perspective

Image
Taking Charge of Your Children: A Biblical Perspective As a parent, taking charge of your children is one of the most important responsibilities you'll ever have. It's a role that requires patience, love, and guidance. In the Bible, we find many references to parenting and the importance of raising children in the ways of the Lord. "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it." (Proverbs 22:6) This verse emphasizes the importance of teaching children the ways of God and guiding them on the right path. As parents, it's our responsibility to model Christian values and principles for our children, and to teach them how to apply these principles in their daily lives. Discipline is an essential part of parenting. It's not about being harsh or punitive, but about guiding our children towards making good choices and developing self-control. "Fathers, do not exasperate your children; ...

Empowering Principles for a Purposeful Life In a world filled with challenges, distractions, and uncertainties, it's easy to lose sight of what's truly important. However, by embracing certain principles, we can navigate life's complexities with confidence, purpose, and faith. The mantra "Stay strong, stay focused, stay Godly, stay believing, avoid laziness" encapsulates the essence of a life well-lived, reminding us of the importance of resilience, dedication, spiritual growth, faith, and diligence. Life is filled with obstacles and setbacks that can leave us feeling drained and defeated. However, as people of faith, we are called to be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power (Ephesians 6:10). By staying strong, we can face challenges head-on, knowing that God is our rock and our refuge. Psalm 28:7 reminds us, "The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and he helps me." In a world filled with d...

The Divine Dance of Time and Destiny

Image
The Divine Dance of Time and Destiny Life is a complex interplay of various factors, including time, circumstance, and divine intervention. As we navigate the twists and turns of our lives, we often wonder about the role of time and God's sovereignty in shaping our destinies. The phrase "Time decides, God finalizes" captures the essence of this dynamic, reminding us that while time may bring about opportunities and challenges, God's ultimate plan prevails. Time is a mysterious force that shapes our lives in ways we often cannot control. As the minutes tick by, moments turn into hours, and days turn into years, we are constantly evolving, growing, and facing new challenges. Time brings about change, and with it, opportunities and obstacles that can alter the course of our lives. Ecclesiastes 3:1 reminds us, "There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens." While time may seem like a neutral force, God...

Finding Strength in Faith: Navigating Life's Storms Life is a journey filled with ups and downs, and at some point, we all face challenges that test our resolve, faith, and character. These tough times can be overwhelming, leaving us feeling lost, alone, and uncertain about the future. However, as people of faith, we are reminded that we are not alone in our struggles. PROPHET SUDDENLY, AROME OSAYI, THE WINLOS: MAKING A CASE FOR FALSE PROPHETS & THE BATTLE AGAINST THE “GENUINE” PROPHETIC - MY REVIEW (3)

PROPHET SUDDENLY, AROME OSAYI, THE WINLOS: MAKING A CASE FOR FALSE PROPHETS & THE BATTLE AGAINST THE “GENUINE” PROPHETIC - MY REVIEW (3) I encourage the reader to check out the first two parts of this review in order to gain a good understanding of my foundational thoughts. I have made the links to the published posts available in the comments section. The two-part movie beams the searchlight on the destructive ministry of false prophets. They are men who pretend to godliness but deny the power thereof (2 Tim. 3:5). They are like their master as described in John 10:10. It exposes their tricks- subtle, covert and overt - calling to the fore, the need to have discerning believers who outgrow the craze for miracles, the mysterious and prophecies at all cost.  The roguish role of hype men on some “prophetic” platforms is also an highlight. It makes no sense. It is silly and wrong. It is not even worthy of taking more of my time. If you defend it, subtly or frontally, I...
