LITTLE FAITH

Image
LITTLE FAITH Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith? Matthew 6:30. The Lord showed us that the issue of faith has become so important these days. We can no longer ignore its challenges on end-time generation. The Lord said this to those full of anxiety. Those who fear what tomorrow holds. Those who because of the fear of the future could not decide for God or carry out God's assignment.  I may not know what tomorrow holds, in as much I know who holds tomorrow, my tomorrow will be alright. I am better than the Lily the Lord cares for. Jesus Christ also used it for the disciples who woke Him up because of storm while Jesus was sleeping right inside the ship they boarded. Matthew 8:26. This phrase was used by the Lord to Peter. Jesus was walking on the water, Peter asked if he too should walk to meet Jesus. He gave him assurance to walk on his water. He stepp...

SHALL I FIND FAITH 2

Image
FATE INSTEAD OF FAITH "I tell you that he will avenge, them speedily., Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall  he find faith on the earth? " Luke 18:8. Faith is rooted in our connection with God's word while fate is resting in other things and beings outside God. While faith is believe in unchanging God that has the capacity to change everything and anything, fate is submission to immutable law of the universe and inevitable necessity.  The difference between faith and fate is in what they believe. It is in believing in what He said He will do.  Whereas, fate is just to believe yourself, result to self help, your gun, your boss, your papa, your mama, your business, your idolatry or other external powers. Depending in arm of flesh will not and cannot do us any good. It will only set us and what we trust in against the living God. Idol worshippers are even ...

SHALL I FIND FAITH 1

ZERO FAITH "I tell you that he will avenge, them speedily., Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth? " Luke 18:8. Faith is said to be "the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." Hebrews 11:1. Studying the resume of those men and women of faith in this book of Hebrews 11 cast questions on what people call faith in the body of Christ now a days. People's understanding of what faith is, is casting aspersion on the genuiness of what they call faith. In the hearts of many worshippers is what Jesus called zero faith. They claim to belong to the body of Christ, but have no faith to walk with God, stand their ground against pressure, lack, delay, persecution and say no to unrighteousness. They perverse godliness. They enjoy the act of God but cannot understand His way at all. Such people claim to belong to the body of Christ but deny the power there of. The Lord called them faithless. "Then Jesus answe...
