THE REASON I QUOTE SCRIPTURES SO EASILY IS BECAUSE I 'EAT' THEM NOT CRAM THEM   - Bishop David Oyedepo For everyone who has listened to Bishop Oyedepo preach, one thing you can't miss noticing is how well he quotes portions of scriptures by heart with precise reference. Another thing you will also notice if you listen to him for a while are his stories of his encounters with God and his personal experiences which are recounted over and over with dates and unchanging details. While ministering during one of his recent Sunday sermons, he shared the secret behind his sound mind.  He said "You are too young to be scratching your head about what happened last year. Too young! I tell the stories of 50 years ago precisely today by this grace. I can tell where it happened. I can tell most of the time the exact time it happened. You have been hearing these testimonies forever and they haven't changed. I decree the quickening of your mental faculty. Jacob was sti...

APOSTLE IREN BLASTS MEMBERS WHO COME TO CHURCH WITH A CUSTOMER’S MENTALITY

APOSTLE IREN BLASTS MEMBERS WHO COME TO CHURCH WITH A CUSTOMER’S MENTALITY. Apostle Iren while teaching on the Subject, “Plug-In: Finding Your Place In The Movement” on Sunday, blasts members who come to Church with a customer’s mentality. According to him, people who come to Church with a customer’s mentality don’t really understand what Church is and that is why they keep moving from one Church to another. These set of people don’t do anything in the Church because they don’t see the need to join the workforce of the Church. They just want to be served like in a restaurant. They see problems in the Church but they don’t see themselves as part of the solution. They are always fault finders. They keep putting blame on pastors when things don’t go well in the Church and when their needs are not met in the Church, they tend to leave. He gave examples of people who left the Church because they felt the Church wasn’t sensitive to their personal needs. He also cited an example o...

Muslim Man Defends Pastor Adeboye’s N10 Billion Donation Request, Says It’s a Virtuous Act A Muslim faithful, Adejare Ibrahim, has come out in support of Pastor Enoch Adeboye’s recent call for N10 billion donations from members of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG). Pastor Adeboye, the RCCG General Overseer, made the request during the church’s August convention, explaining that the funds were needed to accommodate the growing number of worshippers at the Redemption Camp. In a Facebook post, Ibrahim expressed surprise at the criticism Pastor Adeboye’s donation call has received. He said the request was voluntary and not forced on anyone. "It is my money, not yours. I pray that I will be among those who will donate generously to the cause of God. May I not be among those who spend time criticizing others on social media while others give millions and billions.”

Many applicants had experienced difficulties accessing the portal due to slow loading times and crashes caused by heavy traffic. I USED TO BE A WOMANIZER - DANIEL ETIM EFFIONG

Image
Nollywood actor Daniel Etim-Effiong has revealed that he used to be a womanizer at one point in his life, though he described the phase as brief and a period of learning. In a recent interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo, the actor—who started out as an engineer—shared that he once dated multiple women at the same time, but eventually realized that lifestyle didn’t bring the fulfilment he expected. “Maybe there was a period in my life that I was,” he admitted. “I wouldn’t say for long, but they were periods of learning.” Etim-Effiong explained that, while it may seem fun to be a “player,” the habit can negatively affect one’s ability to commit in the future. “If you develop that lifestyle, it won’t automatically change overnight,” he said. “When you get married, that muscle hasn’t been developed. So when you face challenges, you may feel like walking away instead of working through it.” He now uses his experience to advise young people to avoid womanizing, emphasizing th...

Taking Charge of Your Children: A Biblical Perspective

Taking Charge of Your Children: A Biblical Perspective As a parent, taking charge of your children is one of the most important responsibilities you'll ever have. It's a role that requires patience, love, and guidance. In the Bible, we find many references to parenting and the importance of raising children in the ways of the Lord. "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it." (Proverbs 22:6) This verse emphasizes the importance of teaching children the ways of God and guiding them on the right path. As parents, it's our responsibility to model Christian values and principles for our children, and to teach them how to apply these principles in their daily lives. Discipline is an essential part of parenting. It's not about being harsh or punitive, but about guiding our children towards making good choices and developing self-control. "Fathers, do not exasperate your children; ...
